About Me

With 10 years of experience as a cultural critic and editor, I have a trained analytical eye for breaking apart narratives — and problems — to better understand how they work and how to make them better.

As a founding member of the cléo editorial board (“a landmark Canadian journal of film and feminism” according to the Globe & Mail in 2019), I’ve helped foster a new generation of female and non-binary writers and editors in media. I’ve made it a priority to find and uplift diverse voices, and have a proven track record for mentorship and advocacy.
